Register the user in the Bitsco electronic platform service

Use of personal details (purpose of registration)

Personal details are collected to make communication and use of the Service possible. The details can be used for communication between service providers and users and also for direct communication between users. Some personal details appear on the user's profile page, but these details are optional (except name).

The handling of personal details is not outsourced, but log data is stored on a server rented from an external company.

Information content of the register

The following information can be stored in the log:

Personal details: name, email address, telephone number and street address

Account details: username and password (stored in encrypted format)

Description text that a user might write about themselves

Offers and requests posted by the user on the service

Feedback and badges given and received

Statistical data about the use of the Service, e.g. The number of times the user has logged in

Regular sources of information

Personal details are provided by the User when registering for the Service or when subsequently using it.

Regular delivery of information

Information may be delivered for research purposes as described in the Instructions User accepts before beginning to use the Service. Researchers may not publish any research results until identifying information has been disclosed or any identified user can be discovered.

Information relating to users of one Bitsco online platform community may be delivered to the customer who established that community or to community administrators appointed by that customer.

Transfer of information outside the European Union and the European Economic Area

Information may be stored on a server that may be located within or outside the European Union and European Economic Area

Registration of protection principles

The information is stored on computers. Access to information is restricted by passwords and physical access to computers is restricted by the company hosting the server.
